Hi, I’m Sherry Du. I’m a trauma-informed, intuitive, and culturally sensitive counsellor who offers a safe, grounded space for healing, reflection, and emotional clarity. I help people navigate grief, trauma, burnout, life transitions, and the quiet, aching questions around purpose and self-worth.
My clients often come to me carrying a lot: emotional exhaustion, painful loss, invisible wounds, or a longing to feel like themselves again. Many have never had space to fully express what they’re going through. My role is to walk beside you—not ahead of you—as we gently explore what’s hurting, what’s missing, and what’s possible.

Therapy with me is not one-size-fits-all

I believe every person is profoundly unique your inner world, your pace, your pain, your values. That’s why I take time to get to know you as a whole person. Together, we’ll find a way of working that feels natural and empowering for your nervous system, mpersonality, and goals.
I bring both clinical tools and intuitive presence into the therapy room. I’ve learned that deep healing often happens not just through logic—but through being seen, sensed, and understood on a more subtle level. I pay attention not only to your words, but also to what’s underneath—energy, emotion, and unspoken patterns.

Professional Overview

I’ve supported individuals through dark times, life changing situations, grief and trauma, lacking sense of belonging and purpose. I’m also a CVAP-approved provider (Crime Victim Assistance Program), offering care for those impacted by violence or trauma. I use a blend of the person centered, internal family system or EMDR, hypnotherapy, somatic practices to support healing on emotional, physical, and subconscious levels.

Beyond talk therapy

I also facilitate grief groups, women’s circles, and sound bath meditations, which offer powerful space for release, rest, and reconnection in a supportive group setting. I have a deep interest in energy work and the way subtle body-mind-spirit awareness can enhance emotional healing. I often work with clients who are sensitive, empathic, or energetically attuned—and want a therapist who honors that side of their experience. As a tarot lover, I also draw on symbolism and metaphor to support self-reflection. When clients are open to it, I may offer gentle insight using imagery and intuitive themes—not for prediction, but to help them access their own inner wisdom and guidance.

Individual & Couples Counselling

Whether you’re grieving, feeling anxious or emotionally stuck, I provide a warm, non judgmental space to explore what’s holding you back. I work with you using EMDR, ACT, CBT, and Family Systems Therapy to process difficult emotions, reframe inner narratives, and build resilience.

Grief Counselling

Loss changes everything. I offer gentle and skilled support for those grieving loved ones, relationships, health, or life roles. Whether you’re facing anticipatory grief, complicated grief, or ambiguous loss, I can help you process your emotions and find ways to move forward without forgetting what matters. You are not alone—and healing doesn’t mean forgetting. It means integrating the loss in a way that allows you to live fully again.

EMDR Therapy (with Somatic Integration)

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an evidence-based method to support trauma recovery. I also include somatic EMDR techniques to help regulate the nervous system and reconnect with the body during emotional processing. This is ideal for trauma, anxiety, chronic stress, or overwhelming life events.
Optional packages:
● 3-session EMDR reset
● 6-session trauma healing plan

Hypnotherapy

90-minute session
Hypnotherapy is a powerful approach that works with your subconscious mind to help shift unhelpful patterns, reduce emotional pain, and restore a sense of balance. It’s especially helpful for:
● Anxiety, overwhelm, and sleep challenges
● Confidence and performance blocks
● Inner child healing and emotional release
● Grief-related emotional stuckness
Each session includes an intake, customized guided trance work, and personalized take home strategies.

Groups & Wellness Circles

In addition to individual work, I facilitate group sessions focused on grief support, women’s healing, nature-based wellness, and sound meditation. These circles are safe, soulful spaces for community and self-care.
